Meet Your 2010-11 Ambassadors

The College of Liberal Arts Student Ambassadors ‘tell their stories’ to prospective students and their parents in a variety of on- and off-campus recruiting events. They strive to present the ‘student face’ of the college and share their knowledge and love of their academic and extracurricular interests at Oregon State University.

heather Heather Bryan is a Senior from Keizer, Oregon.  Her major is History and Education, with a minor in Spanish.  “I like history because it provides so many opportunities outside of the classroom and the faculty truly cares about your learning.”
Jocelyn DeWitt is a Junior from Salem, Oregon.  Her major is New Media Communications, with a minor in Spanish.  “ I love my major because of all the hands-on experience it has provided me in the field of journalism.  I don’t think I would have gotten similar opportunities in any other university or department.” jocelyn
katie Katie Hanna is a Senior from Portland, Oregon.  Her major is Psychology with a minor in Speech Communication.  “I chose my major because I love to learn about people—their behavior, why they behave in certain ways.”
Boon Kruger is a Junior from Albany, Oregon.  His major is New Media Communications, with a minor in Communication. boon
juliana Juliana Orellana is a Sophomore from Bend, Oregon.  Her major is Liberal Studies, with a minor in Spanish.  “Being a liberal studies major allows me to create a unique major that I can call my own.”
Kelsey Shields is a Senior from Portland, Oregon.  Her major is History and Education, with a minor in Spanish.  “I love reading about historical figures and events, and talking about them with fellow history enthusiasts!” kelsey
Randi Randi Williams is a Junior from Newberg, Oregon.  Her major is Liberal Studies/Pre-Elementary Education.  “I love that I am able to take a huge variety of classes and choose the ones that sound interesting to me.”
